Notice of termination
Used by contractors in the construction industry, as well as by material suppliers, the notice of termination served by the bailiff to the owner of the building under construction or renovation will allow you if necessary, to register a mortgage on the building, should the contractor fail to pay you. This notice must be served within 30 days of the date of contract award.
